The general themes of Mobility in Romania from the Erasmus+ Active Kids for a Better future project were: „eTwinning School-vector of good practice” and „Developing pupils’ empathy, civic feelings, environmental concerns and inclusive attitudes – examples of good practice.”

The types of activities carried out were: presentations, workshops, documentary visits, debates. After the opening ceremony, two ppt materials were presented: „How did we become eTwinning school” and „eTwinning projects run by our school”. There was a debate on the topic on „eTwinning and the world’s surrounding issues” in which the participants identified the problems of the contemporary world and if the eTwinning projects can bring to the attention of the students these problems. In the following days there were workshops with themes: „eTwinning projects that develop active citizenship, civic spirit, environmental concern, empathy”, „Web 2.0 tools used in eTwinning”, : „Stories that develop empathy in young children and foster inclusion.” and „Drawing up an electronic brochure with ideas of activities similar to those presented during the meetings that can be held in partner schools”. It was presented the „Brown bear story” activity – example of good practice on empathic stimulation and inclusive attitudes in young children and the outdoor activity „At the farm”. A documentation visit with the theme „Traditions and traditional activities, the basis of helping people and protecting nature” was made. There was a daily evaluation and a final evaluation. Four teachers from each country participated in the activities. Depending on the themes of the day, four to seven local participants participated. During the teachers’ activities, the students coordinated by other local teachers made drawings, collages and models that showed that they are active children. An exhibition with students’ works was organized. The results of the first meeting are: two ppt presentations, a brochure with ideas of eTwinning projects, a play by children, a multilingual dictionary of active children, a story book made in collaboration, dissemination materials; development of civic social competences, digital competences, communication in foreign languages and intercultural competences. During the activities, the students of the school had a normal program, and the students who had hours of arts or practical skills realized works for the thematic exhibition.
